   WHO ARE THE DEVELOPERS?

Latest News: We have won again!

The developers are Helioslough. Helios Properties and Slough Estates plc are substantial commercial property companies specialising in large warehouse developments. The two companies have joined together to form Helioslough.

Helios Properties were involved in a previous application to build an international rail freight exchange at Colnbrook, near Slough in 2002. This project was called L.I.F.E (London International Freight Exchange) and was led by developers Argent plc. This proposal went to public inquiry where the Public Inspector decided (amongst many other reasons) that the impact on the local road network, the M4, M25 and the A4 would be too great. Thus it was defeated at a believed cost to Argent plc of £10 million.
